Where is Chail and How to reach chail ?
Chail is well-connected by road, rail, and air.Due to its location on uphill, it’s only accessible by road only. But it is well connected to the rail and air to its nearby places.
By Road
Chail can easily be reached via bus through Shimla. Since Shimla is a popular tourist destination, daily buses run there from practically all important adjacent cities. Buses to Shimla are readily available from HRTC, HPTDC, and other private travel operators. You may easily get a bus or shared vehicle heading towards Chail after you are in Shimla. The distance is 46 km via Kandaghat.
Another option is to travel to Chail by Kufri. From kufri to chail it will take two hours. This path will show some of the most scenic locations.The distance is 23 kms Although getting off at Kandaghat is another option if you travel from Chandigarh, public transport along the Kandaghat-Chail route is not very frequent. You can catch a direct bus that travels through Kandaghat on its way from Solan to Chail. In addition to this, I have seen shared taxis on this route. The distance from Chandigarh to Chail via Kandaghat is 107 km.
By Train
Kandaghat is the station on the narrow gauge railway that is closest to Chail. The Kandaghat stop on the Kalka-Shimla toy railway is where you can disembark and locate a different method of transportation to get to Chail by road.
By Air
The Jubbarhatti airport in Shimla is 62 kms away from Chail and is the closest airport. Nevertheless, Chandigarh, which is 117 km away, has the closest major airport.
You can either find a taxi or catch a bus for the last leg of your trip to Chail from Shimla or Chandigarh. You won’t have any trouble finding a flight to Chandigarh because it is so well connected to the rest of the nation by air.
Best Time to visit Chail?
Chail is best visited between March and June and September and November. These months have good weather with temperatures between 15°C and 30°C. Avoid traveling during the region’s monsoon season, which runs from July to August, as this time is marked by intense rains. The roads are closed during monsoons because of landslides.
