Ladakh bike ride- Chandigarh To Manali- Day 1. Let The Adventure Begin.

Leh Ladakh is one of Dream destinations for many travelers. Ladakh in local language means Land of High Passes. A perfect place for mountain and adventure lovers. Specially for  bikers it is a riding paradise, riding a bike through such beautiful yet dangerous roads excites every bike enthusiasts. its not similar to spiti as you have to cross few high altitude pass in this ride.

Day 1 starts from chandigarh. common route to manali from chandigarh is via Ropar, bilaspur, sundar nagar, Mandi and Kullu. Till Bilaspur its a single road and traffic is very annoying. especially heavy trucks going to swarghat cement factory. after that till sundar nagar road condition is very good. but around mandi it gets very worse due to ongoing road construction. chandigarh to manali is still very tiring. luck favored as we have not faced any road blockage due to landslides.

Manali is one of  the favourite destinations among all the hill stations. Weather is one of the reasons why travelers prefer it over the other destinations. It is also referred to as a gateway to Leh Ladakh and Lahaul Spiti. On the banks of Beas River, Manali is situated at an altitude of 6760 Ft above sea level.

Manali is 547 KM from New Delhi, 306 Km from Chandigarh and is accessible by road and by air. Best season to visit Manali is From April To July in Summers and October to December in winters. in this article I will share some of the less explored places near Manali and are the must visit places on your checklist,
