Chitkul To Tabo -winter spiti valley vlog continues and today we faced landslide in chitkul and due to snow in chitkul it was very difficult journey. temperature in chitkul was extremely cold and chitkul to rakcham was a challenge due to heavy snow on road. snow in mountains is always beautiful but dangerous. took a break after karcham for lunch and had some awesome food in mountains.
our second stop was as nako village. road to nako was also covered with snow and it was again very difficult drive on snow and weather is nako was extremely cold. but the view of nako village of simply awesome . trip to winter kaza is very exciting and adventurous. in my views it was the best time to visit spiti valley. snow covered mountains are delight to watch this my honest opinion about spiti valley road trip.

Well, I guess everything is changing due to development. I fear we may lose the beauty of nature in a few years from now. Well, Nako Village is so beautiful and amazing . Nako lake is situated at an height of 11988 FT. Staying at nako is not advisable if you are a first timer. acute mountain sickness can hit you if you are not a frequent traveller to high altitudes .
Tabo In winters
A small town in lahaul spiti located at the banks of spiti river. The Buddhist monastery in tabo is believed to be more than thousand years old. Apart from the monastery, tabo caves are a must visit place for history lovers. These caves take you to the prehistoric era and are protected by the Archaeological Survey of India. By climbing a few stairs you can go to the main site to witness an Arial view of tabo.
