This route is the only way to reach Kaza in winter.

By Air and Rail: The nearest airports are Bhuntar (Kullu-Manali) and Chandigarh, and the closest railway station is Joginder Nagar. From these points, you will need to continue your journey by road, either by hiring a private taxi or taking a bus. HRTC buses are a frequent and affordable way to travel, with services from both Manali and Shimla.

Remember to acclimatize properly upon arrival in Kaza, as the high altitude can cause altitude sickness. Carry sufficient warm clothing, and be prepared for limited connectivity and basic facilities.
