Leh is the Largest and main city and now capital of Ladakh Union Territory. Earlier Ladakh region was a part of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. But now after becoming a Center Ruled Union Territory Ladakh is having its own state administration. Once the historical capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh, Leh is one the main administrative centers of Ladakh. The city is located on the bank of the River Indus at an High altitude of 11,500 Meters. What makes it special is that it is Surrounded by many high altitude passes. Which makes Leh a perfect destination for tourists and bikers.
