Chitkul is the last village on the Indo Tibet Border located on the banks of Baspa River in Baspa Valley in Kinnaur region of Himachal Pradesh. Old houses built with either slate or wooden plank roofs are simply mesmerising. During winters it mostly stays covered with a thick layer of snow which adds to the natural beauty of this village. Mathi temple situated in Chitkul is believed to be 500 years old and also Chitkul is the last point of Kinner Kailash parikrama, which shows religious importance of this village.

Rakcham is also a famous location for bouldering, this we came to know while chatting with locals. Many famous rock climbers visit rakcham from all over the world.
