Himachal Pradesh is also known as Dev Bhoomi or Land of Gods and veer bhoomi which means land of brave. Situated in the northern part of India, it shares its border with Union territories of Jammu, kashmir and ladakh, state of Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand. It also shares its international border with Tibet. This state is also the origin of three out of Punjab rivers and four of the five flows through Himachal Pradesh.
